Here is an article by Bob Herbert in the NY Times, a good reminder to all of us about the price being paid by many veterans – and it doesn’t even mention that their families are equally affected.  Nor does it mention that the current estimate is that about 35% of vets are returning from Iraq and AFghanistan with at least some emotional difficulties, PTSD, etc.
